I feel seen. I'd rather just do improv, sketch, clowning. the worst part for me about standup is just that it's so late. Are there any really early online open mics? like 5 or 6pm? lol.
I used to love performing standup 3 to. 5 days a week...unfortunately with young child that's been cut to once a week and even that often produces an angry wife!
I feel this is a good chance to get immersed into books and courses in between diaper changes and feeds. I think that when I gig I probably need to be a lot more switched on with helping out, networking etc..
