Weekly Accountability Post
For Monday, June 1, 2026
It’s June. Time just keeps on movin’.
That’s why I do these Weekly Accountability Posts. To make sure I’m getting things done despite the fact that time won’t stop for a second to let me catch up.
I encourage you to comment on this post and list what you got done this week. It really helps you stay productive.
Screenplay
My goal last week was to write a screenplay based on my first novel, which I wrote under a pen name back in 2018 (for practice). That goal was about a third achieved. I produced 30 pages of a vomit draft.
I have to go through and edit it, but it feels good to hammer it out. It helped that I had already written the book. But not as much as you would think.
Receipts below.
The script was my sole focus, so much so that I dropped off the face of the Earth. Did you miss seeing my name incessantly in your inbox?
We also held a fun Writers Room and a great Monthly Accountability Meeting Sunday morning. Hats off to everyone with audacious goals for June!
And that was my week. What did you get done?
