I got serious this week and made a strict schedule to finish my book and deliver it to the publisher on time. Hurray for me, I met my deadlines for the week. Seven more ridiculously rough chapters of The Elements of Humor are attached below.
I also did a little performing, playing Aaron Rogers on morning radio in Madison, Wisconsin. The audio clip of that appearance is below. I also did some improv at the Huge Improv Theater in Minneapolis, which was good fun.
What did you get done this week? Let me know in the comments!
One of the perks of being a subscriber to No Dikkering Around is the stick. If I don’t hear from you, that means you probably didn’t get any creative work done, and that’s not what we want here. If you didn’t get anything done, it’s important that you write, “I didn’t get anything done,” because the embarrassment will motivate you to do better next week. That’s the stick.
Another perk is the carrot. Did you get any creative work done this week? Be proud! Sing it loud in the comments, and I will praise your successful effort. That’s the carrot.
This age-old root vegetable and tree combination can make you productive, accomplished, and successful.
Together, we can do it!
