We all think our situation is different. We hear good advice and say, “But that doesn’t apply to me.”
It actually does.
So many of us have the same issues, and the advice givers get tired of giving the same advice and hearing the same refrain: “Yeah, but I’m in a unique situation. It’s different with me.”
No, it isn’t.
We hit the same roadblocks over and over:
Self-sabotage, low self-esteem, unwillingness to get or adapt to feedback, trying to do the same thing everyone else is doing, unwillingness to ask for help, inability to see our fatal flaw.
Take stock of what’s holding you back. Take a hard look at yourself. What are you doing right? What could you be doing better?
If you can’t answer those questions, I can. Remember there’s still time to enter my one-on-one coaching giveaway. It ends March 1!
I hope I get a chance to chat with you.
I am really trying to embrace the mindsets in your comedy business course right now.
I think I am finding a lot of value in developing my emotional intelligence...I am even talking about the concept with some of my patients.
Self-awareness is such a rare and precious quality. As is the willingness to receive coaching. It's hard. When to listen. When to ignore. Who to trust.
