Here we are, another week behind us, and time to take stock of what we have to show for it.
Share your accomplishments of the week in the comments. Doing this regularly will make you more productive.
I’ll go first. I posted on social media every day and wrote a preface for my Elements of Humor book. Turns out, the publisher needs at least a preface or a foreward.
I reignited an old Twitter routine, but now that Threads is the new Twitter, I’m doing it on Threads instead of Twitter. I’m posting a joke a day, every day. Follow me on Threads to get the goods.
I focused more on business than writing. I had a lot of meetings. Met with a couple of different producers / movie companies to talk about The Unbelievable Onion Story movie. I met with members of my How to Write Funny team to talk about a yearly event, like a festival. We’re excited about the idea. I’ll share more with you when I have more details.
I also worked with my team to set up the daily joke contest on the How to Write Funny Facebook page. People are winning $10 for each joke that gets picked. I hope you’re submitting your jokes—it’s easy money! Just follow the page for prompts.
Preface below. I look forward to seeing what you’ve been up to!
